When it comes to sourcing inspiration for your modular home design, our completed projects are a great place to start. You can see for yourself how our designs are personalised by our clients, to create a home that is unique and beautiful.

In our 5 Things We Love… series of articles, we aim to highlight the key features that make each of our completed projects extra special – and this week we’re showcasing the spectacular Metung project.

So, read on to discover the 5 things that elevated this home from stylish to truly stunning.

Big Deck with Spectacular Views Over the Water

The highlight of this home would have to be the expansive deck. There is plenty of room for the family to relax or entertain, while enjoying the spectacular views across the water. The deck can be easily accessed through large sliding doors in the living area, or bedroom 1, which makes it easy to pop out with a cuppa and watch the sunset over the ocean. Bliss.

Parent’s Wing and Kid’s Retreat

The design is a customised version of our Hampton 19 design and our clients have made some clever changes to the floor plan to provide the parents and kids with their own space. Bedroom 1 is situated in a wing on its own, complete with an ensuite, walk-in robe and easy access to the deck. At the other end of the house, there are two bedrooms and a rumpus room, which our clients opted to include in place of bedroom 4. This provides the perfect kids retreat and is sure to become a much-appreciated feature over the years as the children grow.

Lifestyle Living at its Best

The centrally located living zone is stunning. Beautifully finished with stylish colours and elegant furnishings, the outlook over the water completes the space perfectly. The large sliding doors to the deck bring the outdoors in, and add a sense of space and luxury. This is definitely a room you’d look forward to coming home to every day.

Show-Stopping Colour Scheme

1

The bold use of light tones throughout the house bring a clean, spacious and modern feel to the home. Darker tones are also used in places for contrast, which creates a memorable and dramatic effect. This is highlighted to perfection in the kitchen, and in smaller details such as the ceiling fans in the living zone.

Beautiful Fixtures and Fittings

11

A sure-fire way to add a personalised touch to your new home is to hand-pick the fixtures and fittings that you love. In this design, the lighting is a highlight, with a combination of downlights and pendant lighting used in the kitchen, bathroom, ensuite, and the master and guest bedrooms.

The flooring has also been carefully chosen to match the colour scheme and the addition of a double shower in the main bathroom, plus a bath with a view in the ensuite add a touch of luxury to the everyday. The attention to detail during the colour consultation really shows through and makes a huge difference to the overall look and feel of the home.

Beautiful Home with a Beautiful View

With a view like this, it was essential the design captured and made the most of it – and it surely has. With a few small modifications to the floor plan and the addition of some well-chosen upgrades and features, this beautifully appointed home almost rivals the beauty of the views.

The total cost of this customised version of our Hampton 19 design (including upgrades) was approximately $400,000.
