We all know that first impressions count – and your home is no exception. When building, your choice of facade is important, as it gives your home its character and makes it stand out from the crowd. So your facade is one design feature that you definitely want to get right.

The good news is that there are plenty of options. Whether you prefer a modern look, a conservative style, or a more traditional feel, there’s something to suit all tastes.

Cubehaus

Skillion

Skillion_facade_-_Suburban.jpgUsed mostly for single module homes, the Skillion facade provides a modern look. With its raked ceiling and high narrow windows in the living area, this design adds a degree of space to your home.

The addition of a verandah is an optional feature which looks fantastic and provides you with the perfect place to spend a sunny weekend.

Split-Skillion

The high windows in the living and kitchen areas create a sense of space and airy atmosphere in each room. This design also features a high roof, so you can add light and space to your interior and bring a sense of opulence to your home.

Gable

Gable_facade_-_Kingsford.jpgA classic choice is the ever-popular Gable facade. It incorporates a traditional gable roofline, plus, you have the option of adding a double verandah. The portico and double verandah posts are an important feature, as they give your home that unique Australian touch.

Dutch Gable

This design is often paired with traditional gables, and the combination results in a uniquely charming family home.

Custom Facade

If you have a few creative ideas of your own, some modular home builders will work with you to bring your own facade to life. The team at Anchor Homes not only offer all the above design options, they are also happy to meet with you to look at your design and discuss your options.

Choose Wisely

Take some time to think seriously about your facade – because it plays a huge part in setting the tone and character of your modular home. It’s the first thing that you, and any guests you have over will see – so make sure you select one that makes the right impression.
