When building your dream home, a sloping block can present some challenges. However with a vision, a plan, and the right building and design team behind you, you can bring your ideas to life and achieve great things.

To highlight what’s possible, in this article we’ve pulled together three stunning modular home projects we’ve built on sloping blocks. From the coast to the bush, each of these homes have taken full advantage of the unique features of their land (especially the views!) to create a truly memorable home that suits their family and lifestyle. Read on to discover the highlights.

North Arm Cove, NSW

Located right on the water on the mid-coast of NSW, the North Arm Cove Project is a stunning example of how to build a stylish home on a challenging block. A modified version of our Hampton 16 design, the highlight of this three-bedroom home is the serene water views that are captured from the living zone, the alfresco and the master bedroom.

The elevation and gorgeous natural surroundings provide a sense of calm and relaxation, which creates the ideal holiday vibe for this stylish modern retreat. The clever design has been adapted to suit the steep, narrow, waterside block, providing our clients with an impressive home away from home.

Daylesford, Victoria

Standing proud on a hill surrounded by natural bushland, this stunning modular home in Daylesford is one of our most unique and popular projects. The two-story Barwon design includes four spacious bedrooms and 9ft ceilings throughout, which create a serious sense of space and comfort.

A highlight is the abundance of windows and the elevated height of the design, which allows for sweeping views from every room and every angle. The customised floor plan has been adapted to suit the challenging conditions, with the slope adding to the grandness of this luxury rural home.

Frankston, Victoria

For this steep block along the coast in south-east Melbourne, our clients chose to completely custom design a home to suit their requirements. The Frankston project includes four bedrooms, two large living zones and a huge deck that’s ideal for outdoor entertaining while admiring the views.

The smart design makes full use of the available space on both levels, with ample room for the family to spread out upstairs, both indoors and out. Under the decking the inclusion of a double carport is a clever and practical addition.
