As 2022 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect before we launch into the new year ahead. So, let’s take a quick look at the highlights of the year that was – from new designs to our most-built homes, plus a sneak peak at builds in progress and what’s to come in 2023!
New modular designs for 2022
The Aspendale
Back in February we launched two stunning new designs – the Aspendale and the Queenscliff – and both have since become instant favourites. In fact, the Aspendale has gone on to be our most popular design of the year! With four bedrooms and a spacious living zone that opens out to the rear deck, the elegant Aspendale ticks all the boxes for modern families.
The Queenscliff
The Queenscliff was inspired by the Suburban design, in response to customer feedback requesting a second bathroom in the popular two-bedroom home. The addition of an ensuite and walk-in robe have broadened the appeal of this floor plan, and we’re pleased to now offer a stylish two-bedroom, two-bathroom home as part of our pre-designed range.
Most popular modular designs of 2022
Shoreham 16, Stratford display home
It has been an absolute thrill to help so many of you design and build your dream modular home in 2022. From the coast to the bush, we’ve transported our homes across Victoria and NSW. This year we even sent one home across to an island by boat!
Customised Sorrento, en route to Raymond Island, VIC
The most popular modular designs of the year include a mix of fresh new designs and some of our classic, much-loved favourites, which is fantastic to see. Here’s the top five for 2022:
All stunning homes that are designed to perfection. We can’t wait to see which homes are your favourites in 2023!
Snapshot of 2022 projects
The Honeysuckles project
It’s no secret that we love sharing our finished projects with you, but it’s also fun to share some images of projects under construction, during transport and freshly installed too! This year we’ve built some absolute stunners, including a stylish customised Shoreham 16 in The Honeysuckles, shown above shortly after the install and handover was complete. We think the contrasting cladding, open air deck and raked ceilings create the perfect vibe for this quiet coastal location.
Venus Bay project
The impressive Portsea 14 design (modified to suit) looks amazing set high on a hill in Venus Bay, Victoria. The gable façade allows the feature windows to take centre stage, capturing the spectacular views from above this gorgeous beachside town. A great example of how our homes can be adapted to suit sloping blocks and further proof of the level of skill our transport and on-site team possess to bring it all together so seamlessly, even on the most challenging of sites!
Mallacoota project
In the small seaside town of Mallacoota, another gorgeous Suburban has found its forever home. Wet weather did not dampen the spirits of our on-site crew as they worked hard to get this lovely home ready for its new owners to enjoy.
Wheatsheaf project
And in the quiet rural location of Wheatsheaf, a customised version of the Newhaven 21 made a grand entrance, and now looks right at home amongst the gum trees and serenity. We especially love the feature cladding at the front of the home, which frames the picture windows perfectly.
Looking ahead to 2023
In 2023, you can expect to see more beautiful modular homes added to our pre-designed range, and we can’t wait to share these with you. We’re also planning an open day event, where you’ll have the opportunity to walk through one of our popular designs that is not currently available to view at our display centres. This rare chance to see inside a brand new, freshly built modular home before it heads off to site for installation is not to be missed, so watch this space!
For those of you looking for tips, ideas and inspiration for your upcoming project, we’re launching an ‘ask the expert’ video series, where you can submit any questions you have to our network of experts. For example, our colour consultant will be on hand to guide you on current trends, our design manager will be available to provide insight into the finer details of house design, plus many more.
Looking forward to an amazing new year ahead
