Project Highlights: 5 Stunning Modular Kitchens

Written by Laurie Raikes | March 20, 2020

If you’re looking for a sure-fire way to elevate your new home to something truly special, there’s no better place to do it than in the kitchen.

As the heart of the home, the kitchen is somewhere you’ll appreciate some stylish and thoughtful touches. From lighting to benchtops, there is plenty of scope to add your own personal flavour to the space. There are also lots of practical features that can make your life easier, and when you get the balance right between the two, you’ll love your new kitchen that much more.

We’ve helped our clients design some amazing kitchens in recent times – so in this article we’re sharing 5 of our favourites to help you create a beautiful kitchen for your new home.

1) Metung

The striking kitchen in our Metung project is a standout, with the dark colours of the kitchen contrasting beautifully with the crisp white of the living zone and pale floorboards. The vertical panels of the cabinetry and brick tiled splashback give the space a memorable point of difference, and the louvre windows are a clever addition. The stylish boxed pendant lights complete the look of this perfectly executed modern kitchen.

2) Patonga Beach

The Patonga Beach project is a fine example of a well-planned custom design, where every detail has been carefully selected to create a beautiful home. The kitchen is part of the large, light-filled living zone and includes a bi-fold window that opens out to the alfresco dining space. The white colour scheme of the cabinetry creates a beachy feel, and the classic handles and tapware match the design aesthetic of the entire house and the ‘beach federation’ look that our clients were hoping to achieve.

3) Rye

The elegant kitchen of our four-bedroom Rye project makes great use of colours and textures to create a really beautiful space. The dark tones of the cabinetry and splashback look great with the greys of the waterfall benches and stools, and are complimented by the beautiful pendant lights positioned over the island bench. There is also plenty of storage under there, to keep things tidy and uncluttered.

4) Daylesford

The Daylesford project includes many unique and stylish design features throughout, and the stunning kitchen is no exception. The glossy white cabinetry and benchtops look fantastic paired with the large rose gold feature pendant lighting. The mirrored splashback and striking tapware are stylish upgrades that complete the modern look.

5) Buxton

The open plan living zone of our Buxton project is truly spectacular, and the kitchen enjoys amazing views through the huge bifold doors that open to the decking. With a walk-in pantry there is ample storage space and the large island bench provides a great place for catch ups with the family over breakfast or a cup of coffee. The long, overhead feature light ties in with the surrounding timber to create a warm, natural feel, while the rose gold tapware adds a nice touch of luxury.
