Looking for inspiration for your new home project? There’s no better way to get the ideas flowing than to peek inside a stylish completed home.

In our 5 Things We Love series of articles we share the highlights of some our favourite modular projects. We recently featured a beautiful 4-bedroom home in Rye, Victoria and in this week’s article we look at another house from the same town, this time with five bedrooms.

While both these homes are based on the Shoreham 19 design, they are quite different – showcasing how it is possible to personalise a floor plan and interior details to make the design uniquely yours.

So read on to discover the highlights of the stunning 5-bedroom Rye project.

1. Luxury Outdoor Living

There’s much to love in this beautiful coastal home, including the spacious alfresco decking  complete with in-ground pool. This outdoor space is perfect for family gatherings, entertaining friends or quietly cooling off on a hot summer’s day and adds a touch of luxury that makes the home extra special.

2. Room for all the Family

Our clients chose the Shoreham 19 floor plan, then customised it to suit their needs and space requirements. Inside, an extra bedroom was added taking the total to five, plus an additional ensuite and walk-in robe to bedroom 3. Outside, the large alfresco creates further usable space, making it roomy enough for a large family home or holiday rental that can accommodate multiple families.

3. Two Separate Living Zones

With two separate living zones inside, plus the spacious alfresco outside, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax and do their own thing. The standalone lounge is ideally set up as a games/ movie room which opens out through bi-fold doors to the alfresco deck and pool outside. It’s a great place to get together with a crowd or enjoy quiet time as a family. The open plan living area is bright and breezy thanks to the high ceilings and well-chosen fittings and furnishings. It includes a dining room and kitchen, complete with walk-in pantry.

4. Three Bathrooms for Convenience

Another feature that makes the home ideal as a holiday house is the inclusion of three bathrooms. Bedroom 1 and 3 both include an ensuite and the main bathroom is situated next to bedroom 2. This allows two or three couples or small families to stay in the home comfortably with no need to queue for the shower.

5. Bright and Breezy Flow

The bright colour scheme, 9ft ceilings and spacious floorplan all come together to create a wonderful flow that’s ideally suited to a house on the coast. The addition of some clever upgrades and features such as the gorgeous pendant lighting in the kitchen and the beautiful in-ground pool, give the home a luxurious feel, without being over the top, so the relaxed, coastal vibe is retained. The addition of bi-fold doors opening out to the decking creates an easy flow between inside and out.

Balanced, Beautiful Beachside Living

The 5-bedroom Rye project has everything you could ask for in a holiday or permanent coastal home and more. The spacious floor plan, well-chosen upgrades and thoughtful design features combine to create a perfectly proportioned large coastal home that looks modern and stylish and will be loved by kids and adults alike.

Approximate project cost: $375,000
