When you’re searching for the perfect design for your new home build, it can be hard to find the ideal fit. There are so many stunning homes to choose from and narrowing it down can seem an impossible task.
Identifying the features that will make a real difference to your lifestyle and level of comfort is the key to finding the right home. So, to save you time and make this task easier, over the coming weeks, we’ll share the 5 things we love about each of our favourite homes, starting with the two-storey Anglesea design.
If you’re looking for a large, modern family home or holiday house, the Anglesea has plenty to offer. From the striking exterior to the smart floorplan and thoughtful inclusions, this design provides value for money and style in spades.
Here’s what we love most about it.
1. Lots of Flexible Living Space
With a large living zone located on the ground floor and a second separate living area upstairs, there’s plenty of room for everyone in the family to relax or be social.
The downstairs space includes a large living room at the front of the house which flows into the open-plan dining room and kitchen. This provides lots of flexibility, as you can easily merge or separate the two spaces to suit your mood.
The first floor living area is a cosy space situated outside bedroom 3, which makes it ideal as a parent’s retreat. There’s also sliding door access to the upstairs deck, which adds to the ambience and provides an added sense of space.
2. Large and Comfortable Bedrooms
The size, spacing and features of the three bedrooms make the Anglesea a popular choice as a holiday rental or permanent residence for growing families.
All three bedrooms are a great size and would comfortably fit a queen or king size bed. They’re also nicely spaced out on the floor plan, with bedrooms 1 and 2 situated on the ground floor at the back of the house and bedroom 3 located upstairs.
Two of the bedrooms include an ensuite and walk-in robe, while the third includes a built-in robe and is within easy reach of the main bathroom.
3. Peace and Privacy of the Upstairs Retreat
Another highlight is the privacy of the first floor, which includes everything you need to create the perfect parent’s retreat. The spacious bedroom has two large windows to capture the surrounding views and is completed by a large walk-in robe and ensuite.
The separate living area includes easy access to the elevated deck, providing the ideal place to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day.
4. The Convenience of Three Bathrooms
The Anglesea is our only design that includes three bathrooms as standard, and this is another feature that works well for holiday homes or big families.
In a holiday rental, it provides large family groups or up to three couples the added comfort of their own bathroom. And for families with teenagers, it avoids the morning headache of arguments over the shower.
Both bedrooms 1 and 3 include an ensuite, featuring a shower and toilet. The main bathroom is a generous size and includes a bath and shower, with a separate toilet located next door.
5. Plenty of Storage
These days, we all need lots of room to store our stuff, and the Anglesea features plenty of storage space to keep things organised. Two of the bedrooms have a walk-in robe, while the third includes a built-in robe.
The separate laundry provides further storage possibilities, and if you choose to include the optional garage, you’ll have ample space to store your car, bikes, outdoor gear and more.
Spacious, Stylish and Feature-Packed
With two living zones, three big bedrooms, three bathrooms and lots of storage space, the Anglesea is a great option if you’re looking for a large house that has the lot. For the base price of this design please download our current pricing list for the most up to date information.
